The history of Fatra, a. s. dates back to 1935, when it was founded on solid of Bata foundation. Over the course of our operations, we have adapted to modern trends and, thanks to innovation and new technologies, we are now one of the world‘s leading plastics processors and an integral part of the European plastics industry. 

Our most valuable resource is our people, who drive the company. Together, we form one large team of more than 1,100 employees that creates cutting-edge products and specialised customer solutions that include not only manufacturing, but also consulting services, research and development. 

More than 70% of our production goes abroad. We operate two production centres in Central Europe with state-of-the-art technologies, where we process PVC, PE, PP, EVAC and PET raw materials. 
Our products can be found every day at almost every step; in the construction, healthcare, consumer, automotive, electrical, food, haberdashery and footwear industries. 

Fatra strives to fulfil the vision of the Integrated System Policy by achieving and maintaining a high level of product and service quality, environmental protection and occupational health.
