The new Kvarto Centre uses renewable energy

21. 11. 2024

KVARTO s. r. o. opened a new centre in Bystřice.

Perfect service of agricultural equipment

The new Centre offers perfect facilities for all its customers. There is a service hall for servicing large agricultural machines, a spare parts warehouse and a showroom for agricultural equipment and a two-storey administration building. Development is unstoppable and the team of mechanics must also evolve with the products. Without their ability to tune and repair faulty machines, even the best machines would basically be unsellable. Of course, expert advice is also a matter of course, which often plays a greater role these days than the supply of agricultural supplies themselves.

Construction with an emphasis on ecology

The Bystřice Centre has one unique feature. Conventional sources are not used for heating, the Centre uses the Enerbank system, a so-called bank of renewable sources. It is a very economical heating/cooling system based on 460 energy needles (390 heating and 70 cooling) drilled into the bedrock beneath the Centre. A bit of trivia: the length of one needle is 5 metres. In summer, the heat from the sun is used to heat the ground storage tank and the ground cooling can be used to cool the buildings with minimal energy consumption. In winter, on the other hand, maximum use is made of the ground heat stored in the geothermal bedrock. Compared to conventional commercial heating systems, the efficiency is 4 times higher.

The project documentation including the unique system was provided by OZ Engineering s.r.o, the general contractor was Agrostav Jihlava and the software solution was provided by MARq Software.
