Protection of employee safety and health in the management of the company elevated to the level of economic indicators - this, in short, is the main reason for receiving the prestigious “Safe Enterprise” certificate, which was awarded to representatives of seventeen companies in Prague's Kaiserstein Palace.
Representatives of the awarded companies were presented with “Safe Enterprise” certificates by Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Affairs Zuzana Freitas Lopesová together with the Inspector General of the State Labour Inspection Office Rudolf Hahn. The award not only shows that companies have an occupational health and safety management system in place that has helped them achieve a higher level of workplace culture and safety, but more importantly, it demonstrates that this system functions in their workplaces.
The Safe Enterprise Programme was introduced by the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs in 1996 with the aim of raising the level of occupational safety in enterprises, introducing an effective system of health and safety management, environmental protection and property protection, including helping enterprises to meet the requirements of EU directives and Czech law.
